What makes this coffee special

A traditional coffee, without bitterness

Mogiana is for those who enjoy a classic, generous coffee with a pronounced roast character. Our Medium + profile develops that character without pushing the cup into bitterness.

A round and generous cup

Cane sugar, milk chocolate and hazelnut create a familiar, indulgent profile. The body is generous, with no perceptible acidity.

Cooperative production

This coffee is produced by a cooperative in Alta Mogiana that helps small producers access international markets. Its founder and his children have worked for more than fifty years to develop coffee production in the region.

Origin and producers

Alta Mogiana · São Paulo · Brazil

Mogiana comes from a cooperative based in this coffee-growing region of São Paulo state. The coffee trees are grown at around 1,205 metres above sea level.

The cooperative supports small producers in marketing their coffees. Its lots have also received recognition in national and international competitions.

From fruit to coffee

Catuaí and Yellow Catuaí · Natural · Mechanical harvest · Dried outdoors

The cherries are harvested by rake from April to August, then dried whole outdoors using a traditional natural process.

Brewing

Best suited to espresso and automatic machines: generous body, milk chocolate, hazelnut and roast notes without bitterness. As filter coffee, it is suited to those who enjoy traditional, intense coffees without pronounced acidity.
