Toston, a washed Nicaraguan coffee built for espresso
Toston is a washed coffee from Nicaragua, grown in the Dipilto area of Nueva Segovia and connected to the work of Olman Valladarez. This blend of Maragogype, Maracaturra and Red Caturra delivers a clean, structured and balanced cup, with a clear espresso focus.
Cup profile
Brown sugar and milk chocolate form the base of the cup, followed by dried fruit notes. A more vegetal and citrusy edge brings freshness and length. The result is clear and readable, with a good balance between sweetness, structure and brightness.
A forest-grown coffee rooted in its terroir
Toston comes from the coffee landscape of Dipilto, in northern Nicaragua, an area known for its altitude, relief and quality potential. It is a clean and steady washed coffee that we also highlight as a forest-grown profile, in line with our broader work around coffees cultivated in more resilient tree-covered environments.
